The Gospel of Grace, Conclusion By Jack Kelley. They’ve all been part and parcel of the God from eternity past and “that life was manifested (he says) unto us.” How? Remember, the vast majority of church people in Christendom still do not understand the difference between the Gospel of the Kingdom, which Jesus and the Twelve preached to Israel, and the Gospel of the Grace of God, which is preached to us Gentiles. This is important to us believers as we know we are taught in the scriptures if anyone preaches a different gospel to the church than what the Apostle Paul preached … In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the Desert of Judea and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” But, here in Matthew then, when Peter says “Thou are the Christ, the Son of the Living God” – how does Jesus answer? And if you can’t find that in these Jewish epistles (which you can’t), then you have to recognize that they’re not proclaiming Paul’s Gospel, because they’re in the “Kingdom” economy, and you cannot mix the two, because one was under Law and the other is under Grace! 3:21. Now remember when we taught Hebrews how I emphasized “the Son-ship” of Christ and how that that was His title? “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” That’s the same kind of thinking that John is still practicing here, see? Now, you come into Isaiah chapter 4, and here we come to a term of Christ that is unique. And that’s why we make so much of The Word, God the Son, as the great Communicator. All right, now let’s come back to I John. But every time He’s referred to as the Branch, He is referred to as another aspect of the four views of Christ in the Four Gospels. He is referring to the gospel of the kingdom being preached during the tribulation. But, nevertheless, He still shows them His hands and His feet. All right, now I’ve got to stop there a minute. Home. and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? And you heard me wrong!” And they were trying to put it that I had said that Jesus Christ, or the Son, never existed until His resurrection. Third, and more specifically, the gospel of the cross is the fountainhead of the gospel of the kingdom. The “Kingdom Gospel” starts out probably the plainest when Jesus asked the twelve disciples back in Matthew 16, “Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?” And, of course, some said, “You’re John the Baptist, some think you’re one of the prophets.” Then He came back and said, “But whom do you say that I am?” And Peter answered, “Thou art the Christ the Son of the Living God.” Period. The King was about to appear and the Kingdom was within the grasp of the Nation of Israel. Verse 40: “And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet. When Paul preached the gospel of the grace of God, Peter’s gospel of the kingdom to Israel was limited to the circumcision. The Gospel Of The Kingdom. But they are two totally different scenarios under the same Headship of the same God. The Daniel Project sounds the alarm. KINGDOM GOSPEL VS. GRACE GOSPEL. They are all addressed to Jewish believers – never forget that. And my number one reason for that is that there is not one word in these little Jewish epistles concerning the resurrection, which is central to our salvation. Now verse 3. There are a number of Free Grace people who understand the expression the gospel of the Kingdom to be distinct from the gospel of Jesus Christ and the gospel of Paul. Again, these are differences between the Gospel of the Kingdom VERSUS the Gospel of the Grace … And the gospel of the kingdom wll be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. 43. And he took it (and what did He do with it?) In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the Desert of Judea and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”. Of the remaining 133, only four are contained in the gospels and they all refer to the Lord Jesus (Luke 2:40, John 1:14, 16, 17). The Daniel Project is an excellent documentary film. Now, when I refer to Paul’s Gospel, I’m referring to what he said in I Corinthians 15:1-4. Now this is after His resurrection and Jesus is appearing to them. When Jesus began His earthly ministry, He preached “the gospel of the kingdom” (Matthew 4:23; Mark 1:14).Gospel meaning in English. Look at this. There is a huge difference. In February this year (2017) another documentary film was released, 'The Coming Convergence', by Ingenuity films. Remember, this is to the Nation of Israel and Israel was under the Law. That He was buried and that He arose again the third day according to the scriptures.” That’s Paul’s Gospel, and you must believe that with all your heart! On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me. The gospel of grace, which Paul received by revelation, is not the same gospel that Peter & others taught, which is the gospel of the kingdom, throughout the book of Acts. But this good news of the gospel of the kingdom is not the same as the gospel of the grace of God. They had no idea that they would be going up to Jerusalem for a crucifixion. Kingdom Gospel ministers were sent to water baptize (by Christ) with the gospel: John 1:31-33, Mark 16:16, Matthew 28:19-20. I never said such a thing. “And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. “…which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;” Noticed the Word is capitalized. And they’re about to go up to Jerusalem for the crucifixion. “When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, (up in Northern Israel) he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?” Why did He ask that particular question? “How that Christ died for our sins. (Matthew 24:14) Many Christians believe that the gospel of grace must be preached in all the world to all nations before the second coming of Christ will materialise. The Gospel of the Circumcision (the Jews’ “Gospel of the Kingdom;” Matthew 3:2; Matthew 4:17; Matthew 9:35), and the Gospel of the Uncircumcision (the Gentiles’ “Gospel of the Grace of God;” Acts 20:24; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4). So the Kingdom Gospel is that Jesus was the Christ. The kingdom gospel may be found in Matthew chapters 5-7 the gospel of God’s grace may be found in the Pauline epistles. But there is nothing pertaining to the death, burial and resurrection that we are to place our faith in as the means of salvation in this Age of Grace. Second, the gospel of the kingdom necessarily includes the gospel of the cross. Jesus, in His resurrected body, “ate”? Of course not. They also explain why the NT writers can call “the gospel of the cross” the gospel even while retaining the term for the whole complex of good news. The difference between the good news concerning the Kingdom and the good news concerning the Grace of God may be briefly stated thus:In the Gospel of the Kingdom the Lord Jesus is proclaimed as the seed of David, the Man raised up and Anointed by God to reign over the people of Israel and over the Gentiles (Rom.
